Melting scrap prices touched all-time highs in the northern and southern regions of the country, whereas in the western region sentiments remained below par. Interstate scrap supplies are yet to pick up, SteelMint notes. Further, trade participants remain cautious, although they are hopeful that there should not be any major correction in prices in the near term.
