South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal offers rose to INR 8,100/t at Gangavaram port on 4 Jun’21, with traders factoring in the rise in RB1 (6000 NAR) grade coal prices that touched $113/t, FoB South Africa, today. Bids from sponge iron manufacturers continued to remain under pressure, while hardly any trade was heard. The last trade price was assessed at INR 7,950/t.
