A major Indian steel mill has reportedly booked 20,000 t HRC for export to Turkey earlier this week, sources informed SteelMint. The deal price stood at $1,015-1,020/t, CFR, for Jul ’21 shipment. Indian HRC/plate exports to Turkey in Jan-Apr ’21 aggregated 118,956 t, as per customs data. In addition, around 15,000 t HRC has been booked at $1,000/t, CFR, to be delivered to Italy a week back, as per sources.
