Turkey: Pipes and tubes exports down 47% in Apr ’21

The world’s seventh-largest steel producer Turkey has recorded 47% de-growth m-o-m in pipes and tubes exports in Apr ’21. Exports totalled 101,935 t compared to 191,772 t in Mar ’21, as per customs data. However, on an annual basis, exports shot up 24% against 82,226 t in the year-ago month, SteelMint deduced from customs data. Moreover, total imports by Turkey stood at 28,662 t in Apr ’21, down 16% m-o-m.
