Government-owned steel mill SAIL conducted an auction for 8,550 t (three rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 2 Jun’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. The entire quantity was booked at INR 37,200/t, exw, sources reported. Bids increased by INR 1,200/t compared to the previous auction conducted on 31 May for a similar quantity that was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 36,000/t, exw, as per SteelMint reports.
