Turkey: Billet imports drop by 8% on month in Apr ’21

Turkey’s imports of steel billet in Apr ’21 fell by 8% m-o-m to 504,500 t. Russia, Ukraine, Oman and Algeria were the predominant exporters to Turkey during the period under review. The fall in volumes can be attributed to a decrease in supplies from Russia.
