India’s largest welded line pipe manufacturing company Welspun Corp Limited(WCL) has booked approximately 7,500 t of X-52, 3 LPE API grade carbon-coated pipes at around INR 74,000/t for the Torrent Power and Gas project. WCL operates a 1.65 mn t per annum plant in Gujarat’s Anjar. As per reports, the capacity of the plant is being increased to 2.1 mn t/year.
