Ministry of Power & Energy, a government entity of Sri Lanka, floats tender on behalf of Lanka Coal Company for procurement of Coal.
Lanka Coal is the supplier of Coal for Lukvijiya Power Plant (900 MW) located at Puttalam Sri Lanka.
Coal is required for operation of Plant annually.
Purchase of Coal shall be on FOBT basis.
Quantity Required: 2.2 MnT pa
Bid Submission Due Date: Before 15.00 hrs on 30 May, 2014
About Lakvijaya Power Plant:
Lakvijaya Power Plant, which is also known as the Norocholai Power Station or the Puttalam Coal Plant is one of the largest Coal fired power plant. It is Sri Lanka’s first Coal power plant.
