Pakistan’s ferrous scrap import prices have declined by around $5/t against the end of last week, as per SteelMint data. A deal for UK-origin containerised shredded scrap of 2,000 t was recently finalised at $498-500/t. Another deal of around 1,500 t of scrap of the same origin was concluded at $500-503/t, CFR Port Qasim. Limited and low bids have resulted in a decline in trade prices.
