Western India-based Jindal SAW Ltd has recorded total pellet production at 1.26 mn t for FY’21. As per a recently issued press release, the company has produced 0.36 mn t of pellets in Q4 FY’21 against 0.24 mn t in the year-ago period. The increase in iron ore as well as steel prices has resulted in improved profitability in the pellet segment. The company has pellet production capacity of 1.5 mn t per annum.
