South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal prices rose to INR 7,900/t an increase of INR 400/t w-o-w as sellers raised prices in line with the surging API4 index and stiff freight rates. Stocks at Haldia and Paradip are almost sold out whereas at Mangalore port offers are heard at INR 8,000/t.
