Major Chinese stainless steel mills have marginally reduced their purchase tender prices of HC ferrochrome by RMB 50/t m-o-m for June’21 deliveries. Baosteel announced its prices at RMB 7,445/t ($1,169/t) and TISCO slashed prices to RMB 7,250/t ($ 1,138/t). The marginal reduction by mills can be attributed to thinning spot prices.
