The price of Australian premium low-volatile hard coking coal increased by $2/t on 28 May’21 to touch $153/t, FoB, as buyers placed higher bids ranging from $150-$155/t despite limited spot offers for Australian premium coking coal. However, the upside to Australian coking coal prices looks limited with Indian mills avoiding spot exposures.
