India: Godawari Power & Ispat records pellet production at 2.2 mn t in FY’21

Chhattisgarh-based steel producer Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has released its production summary for FY’21. According to the report:

• The company’s pellet production volumes were at 2.2 mn t in FY’21, up by 13% against 2 mn t in FY’20.
• Billet production was recorded at 0.35 mn t in FY’21 against 0.34 mn t in FY’20.
• Silico manganese production increased by 35% on year to 14,178 t in FY’21.
