An eastern India-based steel mill has booked two rakes of re-rolling grade HRC (SAE 1006) for exports to Nepal, as per SteelMint reports. The deal price stood at $955/t, ex-plant, (equivalent to $975/t, CFR Raxual border) for end-June ’21 deliveries, sources informed SteelMint. Nepal’s imports of HRC/plate from India stood at 0.12 mn t in the Jan-Apr ’21 period.
