Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), an Indian state-owned company, has floated an export tender for 18,000 t slab (220 mm x 1,510 mm X 8,100 mm) from its Rourkela Steel plant in Odisha, as per latest reports. The due date for the tender is 28 May’21. The shipment is likely to be scheduled for mid-July’21. SteelMint heard India’s latest slab export offers at $800/t, FoB.
