Pakistan: Scrap import prices fall $10/t in a recent deal

Pakistan’s imports of ferrous scrap have slumped compared to the beginning of this week due to insipid market sentiments and limited enquiries on decent inventory at mills, SteelMint confirmed from sources. Recently, a deal was concluded for 3,000 t UK/Europe-origin shredded scrap at $515/t, CFR Port Qasim down by $10/t against deals concluded last week, as per SteelMint reports.
