State-owned MSTC has issued a notice to conduct an auction for 22,701 t manganese ore of different grades (Mn 22-48%) in 49 lots on behalf of Sandur Mines (SMIORE), Karnataka. The auction is scheduled for 28 May’21, as per SteelMint reports. In view of strong demand and high prices of silicomanganese, SMIORE has kept the base price unchanged compared to the previous auction held on 29 Apr’21. The entire quantity of 23,499t was booked at 5.40% above the floor price in the previous auction.
