India: Kolkata’s Haldia port to suspend cargo operations as cyclone approaches

Kolkata Haldia Dock Complex and Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port has declared suspension of all cargo operations from 2 PM on 25 May’21 to 6 AM on 27 May’21 as the severe cyclonic storm Yaas is expected to make landfall on 26 May’21. The port authorities have advised all importers and exporters to secure their equipment and cover their cargoes.
