SAIL conducted an auction for 6,900 t of basic grade pig iron on 22 May’21 from its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha. The entire quantity was booked at INR 37,650/t, exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices decreased by INR 1,500/t ($20) compared to the previous auction on 15 May which was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 39,150/t, exw.
