Indian mill scale prices up $4/t in a recent deal

Domestic mill scale prices have increased by up to INR 300/t ($4) this week. SteelMint’s assessment for mill scale (Fe 70/68%) stands at INR 7,200-7,400/t, exw Raipur, and INR 6,400/t, DAP Kandla. A recent deal was concluded by a western India-based steel mill for moving the material to its processing plant along the east coast. The deal, for 25,000 t mill scale, was heard concluded at INR 9,300-9,600/t, FoB Kandla.
