State-owned Indian steel behemoth Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has floated an export tender for 18,900 t billets (150*150mm, 4SP/5SP) for July ’21 shipments, SteelMint learnt from reliable sources. The tender ‘s due date is 25 May ‘21. SteelMint’s bi-weekly assessment for blast furnace-route billet (150*150mm) published on 21 May ’21 was $655-660/t FoB, down by $45-50/t against the previous assessment on 15 May’21.
