Offers come down as demand continuous to be weak for CIS Pig iron on poor off take in Scrap.
Prevailing Pig iron (Steel grade) prices – $367.50/mt FOB Mariupol, down by $10/MT W-o-W
Russia – $410-425 FoB Baltic Sea
Ukraine – $380-385/MT FOB Black Sea
US:
In the current week, offers for imported Pig iron falls below $400/MT CFR levels in the US.
A recent deal was heard concluded at $395/MT CFR from merchant producers of Pig iron located in northern region of Carajas in Brazil.
