JSW Steel has raised iron ore lump offers by INR 1,200-1,800/t, which will come into effect from 20 May’21, SteelMint gathered from sources. A hike in offers by other miners (Rungta, Serajuddin, etc.) last week resulted in an uptick in JSW’s offers. However, delivery shall be based on ore availability. The revised prices are:
- Current offers for Fe 60-62% iron ore lumps (10-40mm) stand at INR 10,000/t, ex-mines.
- Fe 60-62% grade iron ore fines are being offered at INR 7,900/t, ex-mines.
- All prices are on ex-mines basis, excluding GST.
