Induction grade rebar prices in major Indian markets fell by up to INR 1,000/t d-o-d except in a few markets of Western and Southern regions where it remained stable. The highest fall was recorded in Durgapur, Eastern India. Dull demand for rebar since the last couple of days and fall in semi finished steel prices compelled manufacturers to reduce their offers. Moreover, limited trade activities due to Eid festival also weighed on the prices, sources said.
