India: Vedanta’s pig iron production down 12% in FY’21

Vedanta Limited – one of the major pig iron producers and suppliers of India, has reported pig iron production at 596,000 t in the last fiscal year. The production decreased by 12% y-o-y as compared to 681,000 t recorded in FY’20. The company has set a guidance of 850,000 – 900,000 t pa for FY’22.
