China Steel Corporation (CSC) – Taiwan’s leading steel company has raised its steel product prices for domestic sales by an average of 8% in June. The price of hot-rolled steel sheet has been increased by TWD 2,300/t ($82) and cold-rolled steel material by TWD 2,500/t (89). The company has raised offers following a surge in steel price backed by the hike in futures. In addition to it, other mills like Baosteel, Formosa have also announced significant price hikes this month.
