Australia: Iron ore exports from Port Hedland fall 3% in Apr’21

Port of Port Hedland recorded a total monthly throughput of 45.8 mn t in Apr21, a 3.3% m-o-m decrease against Mar’21. Out of the total throughput in Apr, iron ore exports accounted for 45.1 mn t, down 3.4% m-o-m. The Pilbara Port Authority has three main ports – Port Ashburton, Port of Dampier and Port of Port Hedland.
