Indian HRC export price rises in a recent deal for Vietnam

A leading steel manufacturer of India is reported to have booked about 20,000 t HRC re-rolling grade for exports to Vietnam, SteelMint learned from its reliable sources.

• The deal is concluded at around $1,080/t CFR basis, for July shipments.
• Focus shifted to overseas market on higher price realization.
• Mills are now targeting $1,100/t CFR Vietnam.
