Odisha-based private producers have concluded 4 rakes (about 10,000 t) of IF grade billet (100*100 mm) export deals to Nepal at an average price of $600/t loaded to rake (equivalent to $625-630/t CPT Nepal), in the last 2 days. The fresh offers rose by $10-15/t to $610-615/t, loaded on rake, (equivalent to $635-640/t CPT Nepal). Billet prices in India are rising on account of higher sponge iron prices following rally in raw material prices. Prior to this, a Central India based mill has concluded one rake of IF grade billet export deal at around $610-615/t CPT Nepal.
