South India based sponge iron producer increases offer by INR 800/t ($11)

Bellary, Karnataka based BMM Ispat has raised its sponge P-DRI offer by INR 800/t to INR 30,000/t exw.
The prices have increased due to renewed buying and improved billet prices on active demand.
Billet prices in Hyderabad, Southern India have increased by INR 1,000/t to INR 45,000/t exw.
BMM Ispat’s sponge iron plant has a production capacity of 2,300 t per day (equivalent to 0.7 mn t pa).
