Imported scrap prices in Turkey have moved up further by over $5-10/t against the price reported by SteelMint on 8 May’21 . A Baltic origin bulk scrap cargo has been booked to East Marmara region-based steel mill. The cargo comprised of HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $495/t CFR Turkey basis. In another deal heard, Aegean region based mill booked USA origin bulk cargo, which comprised of HMS 1&2 (80:20) at $493/t CFR Turkey basis.
