India: RB2 coal portside offers remain escalated, demand remains sluggish

S.African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal portside offers remained high today amid rising API4 index due to uncertainty over resumption of Transnet’s rail line operations. While offers in Vizag and Mangalore were up at INR 7,600/t and INR 7,500/t respectively, not many bids were heard across various Indian ports as buyers adopt wait and watch mode.
