India: Force Majeure declared at Vizag and Gangavaram port

Due to the partial lockdown declared by Andhra Pradesh government, Vizagpatnam Chamber of Commerce has issued the notification of Force Majeure in the Vizag and Gangavaram port from 5-19 May’21, despite port operations deemed as essential service. This will relieve ports to perform any contractual obligations but it will have only limited impact on operations at both the ports.
