India: SAIL-RMD records 17% y-o-y growth in iron ore production in Apr’21

State-owned SAIL’s Raw Materials Division has posted performance highlights for Apr month on Twitter. Let’s have a look at it:

• SAIL RMD produced 20.66 lakh tonnes of iron ore in Apr’21, a growth of 17% y-o-y.
• It clocked 44% y-o-y growth in iron ore despatches last month with 20 lakh tonnes.
• Iron ore fines sales were recorded at 230,964 t.
