Southern India-based pellet maker – KIOCL has issued a pellet export sale tender for about 50,000 t (Fe 63.5% and Al 2-2.1%). The tender due date is 7 May’21 among the empanelled customers. The company’s last tender concluded in mid-Apr’21 was heard to be concluded at around $205/t FoB. The company operates a 3.5 mn t pa pellet plant in Mangalore, Karnataka, India, and recorded pellet production of 2.21 mn t in FY’21.
