South African Chromite exports increase significantly in Mar ’21

South African Chrome Ore and Ferrochrome export up by 2.4% and 48.6% respectively in Mar ’21 against the previous month. Due to high prices and better demand for ferrochrome, the exports increased from South Africa in Mar ’21. Meanwhile, power tariff restriction in Inner Mongolia restricted the production which resulted in higher exports to China by 20.5% in Mar ’21 m-o-m.
