Indian steel mills collectively book 30,000 t HRC for exports to UAE

Two major Indian steel mills have collectively concluded an HRC export deal of about 30,000 t for UAE at $985-990/t CFR basis for June ’21 shipments, SteelMint learned from its authentic trade channels. UAE importers are actively booking HRC before the Ramadan holidays. Meanwhile, bulk Indian HRC export shipments to UAE from India stood at around 1,15,500 t in Mar ’21 as against 66,898 t in Feb ’21, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
