Indian government-owned SAIL has scheduled two auctions for a total of 7,400 t pig iron. The first auction is to be held on 05 May’21 for 5,700 t (2,850 t x 2 rakes) from Bokaro Steel Plant-Jharkhand while the second auction is to be conducted on 07 May’21 from Durgapur Steel Plant-West Bengal for 1,700 t. The previous auction from Bokaro was concluded at INR 36,700/t exw and that from Durgapur received bids at INR 37,600/t exw.
