JSW steel, a major private steel maker has recently suspended offering HRC export offers for Europe as it exceeded its quota. The company is planning to take necessary action once EU Commission announce their policies of 1st July, SteelMint learned from its authentic trade channels. Indian suppliers have exported around 5,00,000 t HRC to Europe including Jun Jul ’21 shipments. Thus they exhausted their second-quarter quota of 162,983 t (apart from an additional quota of 294,139t) shipments of the hot-rolled coil into Europe on the first day of the new three-month period, i.e. Apr ‘1, according to data released by the European Commission (EC).
