Taiwan steel mill concludes HRC export deal for Pakistan

Taiwan’s major steel producer is reported to have booked around 25,000-30,000 t HRC for export to Pakistan for June ’21 delivery. The deal has been concluded at around $960/t CFR basis, SteelMint learned from its Pakistan-based sources. Last week, Japanese steel mill also booked few quantities of HRC with Pakistani re rollers at around $1,010-1,015/t CFR basis for June ’21 shipments. Bulk HRC imports to Pakistan stood at around 0.25 mn t in Jan- Mar ’21.
