Spot iron ore prices rise on restocking demand and bullish steel sentiments

Spot iron ore Fe 62% fines price yesterday increased by $2.40 d-o-d to $193.85/t CFR China. According to few market sources, iron ore prices rose on restocking demand before Labor Day holiday period. Also, elevated steel margins in China supported the prices. Chinese iron ore futures prices yesterday moved up by RMB 14 and SGX iron ore futures rose by $2.45.
