Two major Japanese steel mills have booked around 50,000 t HRC for Pakistan for June delivery. The deal has been concluded in the range of $1,010-1,015/t CFR, SteelMint learned from its reliable trade channels. Bulk HRC imports to Pakistan stood around 0.11 mn t from Japan in Jan-Mar ’21, as per data compiled with SteelMint.
