South Korean steel giant – Hyundai Steel has released its quarterly report for the first quarter of CY’21. The company reported decline in the crude steel production by 5% and steel sales by 3%, q-o-q.
- Crude steel production stood at 4.5 mn t against 4.75 mn t in Q4 ’20.
- Steel product sales totaled 4.9 mn t against 5.08 mn t in Q4 ’20.
Production and sales volume decreased due to streamlining businesses and its off-season.
