Iran’s DRI output up 9% during FY ’21: IMIDRO

Iran’s major mills produced 30.5 mn t direct-reduced iron (DRI) in the last Iranian fiscal year (Mar’20-21), up 9% y-o-y, according to the recent data released by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO). Mobarakeh accounted for the largest share of DRI output with 7.24 mn t, followed by KSC with 4.08 mn t and Golgohar Complex with 3 mn t.
