Major Indian steel mills have collectively booked around 50,000 t CRC for Europe at $1,330-1,350/t CFR for May end shipments. Last week another private steel mill booked CRC at around $1,280-1,300/t CFR basis for May end shipments. Indian CRC exports stood at 0.13 mn t in Jan-Mar ’21, as per data maintained with SteelMint. Steel mills are actively exporting CRC to European nations on higher price realizations as compared to domestic prices.
