Taiwan’s leading steel company – China Steel Corporation (CSC) has reported its last month’s carbon steel sales at 878,997 t, a 19% m-o-m increase compared to the sales in Feb at 736,343 t. The company’s cumulative steel sales in the first quarter CY ’21 totaled 2.5 mn t, CSC reported in its recent release. Its consolidated net profit before tax increased by RMB 1.786 bn from the previous month due to recovery of the steel market.
