SAIL has increased finished long steel prices by around INR 1,000/t as per trade sources. The price hike can be attributed to the continuous rise in IF grade rebar prices in India and raw material (iron ore) prices, both globally and domestically. The current BF route rebar (12-32mm) offer stands at around INR 53,500/t Exy Mumbai, excluding GST.
