Brazil: Manganese ore exports increase by 25% m-o-m in Mar’21

Brazilian Manganese Ore exports surged by 25.4% to 162,487t in Mar’21 mainly due to increased exports to India. The major reasons behind the increase are:

1) Enhanced performance at the beneficiation plant in Morro da Mina.
2) Higher supply of ROM at the Urucum Mine on improved mining efficiency.
3) Weather disruptions in Australia and Africa, shifted the interest towards Brazilian manganese ore.
