Sudden demand of structural steel has resulted in marginal price hike. Prices of material have gone up by INR 200-500/MT in last 3-4 days.
Mumbai considered as one of major consuming city of finished steel, Structure prices here have increased by INR 500/MT in last two days. Sudden demand led market players to hike prices. Market participants are of the view that market will remain at same levels this month.
Structure offers in Raipur increased by INR 200-400/MT for both light & heavy sections this week.
A native trader of Raipur told, “we are selling Structure to Maharashtra in decent quantity but limited availability of transportation is affecting the supply of material. Low inventory level is supporting price improvement in Raipur. He added further. However, he refused to confirm the quantity of material sold as it was sold on discounted prices.”
Equally, offers in Ahmedabad raised by INR 300/MT on increase in Ingot prices. Demand for material is maintained in the city .
Buying in Ghaziabad market is steady, while prices move up marginally on increased semi finish prices.
